It's time to throw out your old archived copy of Noein. I've done my best to make sure that this release has "everything". Starting with [Henshin]s glorious R2DVD encode, mixing it with the R1DVD english subs and dubs, adding a grain of chapters and non-obtrusive karaoke, and we've pretty much got the perfect blend. And to make it even better, the styling is on the house! Alright, so basically it has the awesome quality R2 video, but it's still dual-audio. You might have noticed that the dub is horribly mastered, so I found it sensible to AAC it (conserving space and all). Furthermore, even though I personally hate dubs, I've gone through the trouble of syncing the english soundtrack within a 5ms margin. Even the most picky watcher should have any problems with this one. As for the subs, everything is pretty much perfectly scenetimed, and there's both a styled and an unstyled subtitle track. The karaoke is in there, but not so blaringly obnoxious as my fellow fansubber-bros tend to make it. Heck, it even passed the unforgiving "linux-netbook on battery power" test! I've gone with tasty minimalism, and I'd say it fits the show well... Though ofcourse this is a case of preference>preference. Finally, as this is my first release, please tell me if there's something I could have done better. Thanks! rizon.net #voss
